Sophie Leigh

Sophie Leigh fell from a seventh floor flat window at Bewley Court in Southend on 10 November 2021.

A man was initially arrested on suspicion of murder but he was released without charge after the police said they found no evidence of any third-party involvement in her death.

However, it was not known how she came to fall from the window.

It was known that she had been drinking most of the day and heavily intoxicated and had been having loud and volatile arguments, but the circumstances bwehind her death were not clear and the Coroner ruled that there was insufficient evidence to show how she came to fall.
